All 55 Alchemy Factory Achievements & Unlock Rates
Alchemy Factory has 55 Steam achievements. The percentages are the global unlock rates Steam reported on 9 September 2026, one day after the 1.0 launch, so they mostly measure how far the Early Access player base got over nine months rather than how hard each one is. Three of them are full-run challenges that fewer than one player in a hundred has finished.

Unlock rates snapshotted:
The relic ladder as a progress curve
The seven relic achievements read like a completion funnel. In order of unlock: Jupiter 26%, Saturn 13.8%, Mars 9.4%, Venus 6%, Mercury 3%, The Legendary Stone 2.6%, Luna 2.4%, Sol 2.3%. Jupiter is the first relic and needs only wood and flax products; Sol is the final main-quest turn-in. The drop from Mars (9.4%) to Venus (6%) is where the Shaper first takes a liquid input and where most Early Access players stopped. The relics page lists what feeds each one.
The three challenge runs
- The Architect (0.6%): Complete the game without buying any land. Never buy land, including the tutorial plot. You skip the tutorial and build upward on the starter tile; once above the neighbouring roofs the floors can spread wide.
- Don't bother me! (0.7%): Complete the game without selling any goods to customers. Finish the main quest line (turn in a Sol) without ever selling to a shop customer. Income has to come from mailbox quests, urgent requests and dispatch portals instead. A January 2026 Reddit write-up combined it with The Architect in one run.
- Born with the Talent (0.7%): Complete the game within 50 days. Turn in the Sol by day 50. Players who have done it recommend a late-game save full of blueprints, skipping the shop entirely and pushing 100 Healing Potions in by day 2-3.
All three check at the same moment, the Sol turn-in, so they can be stacked. A Reddit write-up from January 2026 documents a run that combined The Architect and Don't bother me!, and the Steam thread on the 50-day run recommends preparing blueprints in a finished save first. The challenge-run guide collects the strategies that players who have done it posted.
Notes on the odd ones
A few achievements have conditions the description does not fully explain:
- What are you doing?: Place an Automatic Cashier in a catapult and fire it into a cauldron. Nothing has to be produced from it.
- Overqualified: Any cheap three-slot recipe in a cauldron that outputs a plank works; one guide used a copper coin in each slot.
- Watch Your Step!: A Thermal Extractor built high enough to hit the maximum production multiplier. Guides measured the cap at 17 storeys / 200% output during Early Access.
- Daily Fortune: 100 gold coins in one day equals 10,000 silver or 10,000,000 copper at the Bank Portal rates.
- Fidelity to the Quests: Random quests are the mailbox jobs that pay 130% of market price; the Customer Management skill adds one extra daily quest per four points.
- All Sticky: The Gelatinous Gridlock is a shop item that locks slots on a device so a cheaper stack primes it.
- Traditional Alchemy: The Cauldron research. Cauldrons cost 20 Bronze Ingots each since v0.4.3.4131 (down from 30).
- Word of Mouth: Written for the old Reputation meter (0-100, moved by whether customers found what they came for). 1.0 replaced Reputation with Shop Recognition licences, so how this now triggers is unconfirmed.
- Plumber: Pipeline research: liquids in this game have no flow rate or head, so one pipe network can feed a whole floor.
What the rates say about 1.0
Because the snapshot was taken one day after launch, the percentages describe nine months of Early Access play, not the 1.0 build. Two things to watch: Word of Mouth ("reach the maximum reputation level") was written for the old 0-100 Reputation meter that 1.0 replaced with Shop Recognition licences, so its trigger under the new system is unconfirmed; and the Workbench-based unlocks in 1.0 mean "Place a Stone Furnace" and "Complete research of Pipeline" no longer sit in the same menu they did when these descriptions were written.
