Alchemy Factory Relics: All 7 and What Feeds Them
Relics are the seven end-tier products of Alchemy Factory, each named after a classical planet. They are made in a Shaper (the relic assembler), sell for more than anything else in the shop, and are also the game's experience currency: feeding a relic to a Knowledge Altar converts it into skill points. The Sol is the last main-quest turn-in. The input lists below are what a full-transcript guide showed feeding each Shaper in February 2026 (Early Access v0.4.3); the 1.0 patch notes did not list relic recipe changes, but the May 2026 rebalance did touch some ingredients upstream, so treat them as a map, not a bill of materials.
The seven relics
| Relic | Shaper inputs | Production chain | Players who made one |
|---|---|---|---|
| 1. Jupiter | Planks, small wooden gears and wooden pulleys, in a 2 : 3 : 1 belt ratio into the six Shaper inputs | Logs to planks (table saws), planks to small gears (processors), planks plus rope to pulleys; flax for the rope | 26% |
| 2. Saturn | Glass, salt and brick, two full belts of each | Stone to sand (grinders) to glass (kilns); salt from a cauldron (one copper coin plus two chamomile in the guide); clay to brick in kilns | 13.8% |
| 3. Mars | Iron nails (two belts), steel gears (one), bronze rivets (two), copper bearings (one) | Iron smelters to nails; iron ingots plus coke powder through an Athanor to steel, then processors; copper and impure copper powder from cauldrons, crucibles, then processors for bearings and rivets | 9.4% |
| 4. Venus | Five potions plus one liquid: Healing, Vitality, Growth, Transformation and Blast Potions, with the liquid piped in | Every potion line you have built so far except Panacea; Blast Potions need black powder, brandy and oblivion essence | 6% |
| 5. Mercury | Five jewels plus quicksilver: turquoise, malachite, topaz, obsidian and lapis lazuli | All five jewels came out of cauldron stacks in the guide (obsidian from fertile catalyst, chamomile and a silver coin; lapis from world tree leaves and a resonant catalyst) | 3% |
| 6. Luna | Five ingots plus moon tears: steel, bronze, copper, silver and gold | Silver and gold ingots from silver powder and gold dust (Advanced Athanor recipes reworked in v0.5.4467); moon tears from star dust | 2.4% |
| 7. Sol | Not shown in the transcript sources; the Sol is the final main-quest turn-in and the last Shaper recipe | Produced on a separate floor from the six lower relics in the guide's factory | 2.3% |

Relic by relic
1. Jupiter (26% of players)
Inputs: Planks, small wooden gears and wooden pulleys, in a 2 : 3 : 1 belt ratio into the six Shaper inputs.
Chain: Logs to planks (table saws), planks to small gears (processors), planks plus rope to pulleys; flax for the rope.
The first relic you can build and the cheapest experience source in the game. One guide feeds spare planks from advanced-fertiliser byproducts into Jupiters rather than into coke powder, because unsold Jupiters can always be consumed at the altar.
2. Saturn (13.8% of players)
Inputs: Glass, salt and brick, two full belts of each.
Chain: Stone to sand (grinders) to glass (kilns); salt from a cauldron (one copper coin plus two chamomile in the guide); clay to brick in kilns.
The guide ran twelve rows of stone grinders into twelve kilns to get two belts of glass, and used cannons into hoppers instead of belts to route them. Mid-game guides suggest a slow trickle of Saturns and Mars from tier 6 rather than a full line.
3. Mars (9.4% of players)
Inputs: Iron nails (two belts), steel gears (one), bronze rivets (two), copper bearings (one).
Chain: Iron smelters to nails; iron ingots plus coke powder through an Athanor to steel, then processors; copper and impure copper powder from cauldrons, crucibles, then processors for bearings and rivets.
First relic with four different inputs and the first to need steel. The guide recommends cauldrons for anything copper, bronze or clay because the traditional chain is much larger.
4. Venus (6% of players)
Inputs: Five potions plus one liquid: Healing, Vitality, Growth, Transformation and Blast Potions, with the liquid piped in.
Chain: Every potion line you have built so far except Panacea; Blast Potions need black powder, brandy and oblivion essence.
First relic to take a liquid in the Shaper. Five full potion belts can run six Shapers at once. Several launch-week Steam threads report Venus not selling in 1.0; see the Shop Recognition guide.
5. Mercury (3% of players)
Inputs: Five jewels plus quicksilver: turquoise, malachite, topaz, obsidian and lapis lazuli.
Chain: All five jewels came out of cauldron stacks in the guide (obsidian from fertile catalyst, chamomile and a silver coin; lapis from world tree leaves and a resonant catalyst).
The guide calls it the hardest relic to build traditionally and went all-cauldron for it. Note that coins used as a cauldron ingredient lock roughly 5,000 of that coin inside the device.
6. Luna (2.4% of players)
Inputs: Five ingots plus moon tears: steel, bronze, copper, silver and gold.
Chain: Silver and gold ingots from silver powder and gold dust (Advanced Athanor recipes reworked in v0.5.4467); moon tears from star dust.
The most expensive relic before Sol. Guides recommend spending Relic Knowledge skill points only once you are consuming Venus, Mercury and Luna at the altar.
7. Sol (2.3% of players)
Inputs: Not shown in the transcript sources; the Sol is the final main-quest turn-in and the last Shaper recipe.
Chain: Produced on a separate floor from the six lower relics in the guide's factory.
Turning in a Sol ends the main quest (Alchemy Master, 2.8%). The three run-condition achievements, Born with the Talent, The Architect and Don't bother me!, all check at this turn-in.
Two products that are not relics but sit beside them
| Item | Achievement | Rate | Notes |
|---|---|---|---|
| Philosopher's Stone | The Legendary Stone | 2.6% | Listed as its own achievement; the 1.0 Knowledge Altar can break down any item for experience and grants extra for relics. |
| Perfect Diamond | Perfection! | 5.8% | Jewellery tier product rather than a relic; several launch-week threads report diamonds not selling until a Shop Recognition licence is bought. |
How relics turn into skill points
The Knowledge Altar replaced the demo's upgrade system just before Early Access: "Abilities are now improved by extracting alchemical knowledge from Relics via Knowledge Altars," and the level cap is removed after clearing the game. In 1.0 the altar can break down any item, with extra experience for relics. The skill tree guide covers which points to buy at which tier, including the "skill dump" trick of stockpiling relics, resetting into Relic Knowledge and consuming the lot.
Why the input lists are a map, not a recipe book
The Shaper inputs above were read from a build guide recorded in Early Access. The June 2026 update (v0.5.4467) reworked Silver Powder, Obsidian, Lapis Lazuli and Gold Dust, which sit upstream of Mercury and Luna, and the 1.0 notes changed the Obsidian byproduct from Volcanic Ash to Marble. The relic ingredients themselves were not listed as changed in either patch, but the ratios you need to hit them may differ from the guide's belt counts. The Shaper itself sizes its slots for an exact balanced ratio, so the in-game tooltip is the authority on quantities.
