Steam Deck
The recommended line asks for six physical cores, which is the number that matters: the developers moved belt and device simulation onto background threads in February 2026 and rewrote the conveyor update order in June, so large factories scale with core count more than with GPU. Windows only; there is no macOS or Linux build and open request threads for both have no developer reply. After the 1.0 update several players with big saves reported load times of five to twelve minutes where twenty seconds was normal, and a developer replied on 8 September 2026 that a fix is coming in the next update. The 3 GB install is small because the game has no voiced dialogue or video assets.
